Working with Production staff and Production volunteer teams to provide the best technical corporate worship experience that aligns with the vision and mission of BattleCreek Church.
Your Day-to-Day
Every day looks different, but here's a snapshot of what you'll be up to:
  • Maintains Video Systems across all campuses. Keeps inventory of video and other relevant equipment across all campuses. Pioneers new systems and generates new ideas.
  • Prepares programming each week at our Broadcast Campus. Programs and updates PCO for weekly Broadcast Service. Keeps track of signal flow of video systems at all campuses. Operates as Video Director or oversees V.D. on Sundays at Broadcast Campus as needed.
  • Trains and develops all volunteers at Broadcast Campus and other campuses if needed. Schedules all volunteers weekly for all video team positions.
  • Video directs "Live" events and/or services. Operates all video equipment, including video switchers, cameras, ProPresenter, etc. Installs and executes system design elements.
  • Executes special projects assigned by the Senior Director of Experience to help all people of all ages all the time advance in their journey with Christ.

  • Education & Experience: We are looking for someone with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in related discipline, preferred (but it is not required) and at least 4 years' experience gained through increasing positions within discipline.

The Essentials
Depending on the role, you might find yourself in an office, on stage, out in the community, or working behind the scenes. Evening and weekend hours may be required-it's all part of ministry life!
This role will involve some physical activity, including standing, lifting (up to 50 pounds), kneeling, setting up equipment (using a scissor lift or other equipment), or prepping for events-sometimes even late at night. Don't worry; we'll ensure you know what to expect!
