About the Role
NK Consultancy is partnering with a growing healthcare organization to find an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join their Accounting team. This is a fully remote opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who thrives on accuracy, process, and keeping vendor accounts running smoothly.
What You'll Do
Process invoices, check requests, and other day-to-day accounts payable tasks
Apply coding to vendor invoices and maintain supporting documentation
Electronically document third-party invoicing
Audit and post outstanding vendor payments
Process weekly payment requests and record electronic bank payments
Maintain accurate records of upcoming and future payments due
Reconcile accounts and vendor statements, identifying and correcting discrepancies
What You Bring
A combination of experience and education equivalent to 5 years in accounting or a related field
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Comfortable working independently in a remote setting
Ability to sit/stand, use hands and fingers for computer/phone work, with close vision requirements for extended computer use
Light to moderate lifting; regular, predictable attendance required
