Live-In Caregiver (Rotating Schedule 2-3 consecutive shifts) – Huntsville, TXNow Hiring: 3 Compassionate Live-In Caregivers

We are seeking three reliable and compassionate caregivers to provide care for a client in Huntsville, TX. This position follows a consistent rotating live-in schedule, allowing each caregiver to work approximately 2–3 consecutive days before handing off care to the next team member.

This is an excellent opportunity for caregivers who enjoy providing one-on-one care in a home setting while benefiting from a predictable, recurring schedule.

Rotating Caregiver Schedule

Caregiver #1

  • Friday 7:00 PM – Sunday 7:00 PM
  • Paid for 24 hours (weekend rate)
  • 5-hour overnight rest period 8 per shift

Caregiver #2

  • Sunday 7:00 PM – Wednesday 7:00 AM
  • Paid for 24 regular hours
  • 5-hour overnight rest period 8 per shift

Caregiver #3

  • Wednesday 7:00 AM – Friday 7:00 PM
  • Paid for 24 regular hours
  • 5-hour overnight rest period 8 per shift

The schedule repeats each week, providing consistency for both the client and caregivers.

Live-In Accommodations

During each live-in rotation, the caregiver will be provided with:

  • A private bedroom for sleeping (not a shared sleeping area)
  • Access to a private or shared bathroom
  • All meals while on duty

The client pays for all food. Caregivers will enjoy the same meals that are prepared for the client, so there is no cost for meals during the live-in shift.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting)
  • Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed
  • Provide companionship and emotional support
  • Perform light housekeeping related to the client's care
  • Remind the client about medications (if permitted by agency policy)
  • Monitor and report changes in the client's condition
  • Ensure a smooth and thorough handoff to the next caregiver at the end of each rotation
Qualifications
  • Previous caregiving experience preferred
  • Compassionate, dependable, and professional
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
