Job description

A family of five in Longmeadow, MA, is seeking a live-in Housekeeper/Family Assistant to become a long-term member of their household. This is primarily a housekeeping and family assistant position, with childcare support as needed.
The ideal candidate is hands-on and comfortable pitching in wherever needed. Responsibilities will include full-charge family laundry, household organization, children's meal preparation, errands, and occasional childcare. The family is looking for someone dependable, proactive, and team-oriented who enjoys working in a busy household and is willing to adapt to the family's changing needs.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage full-charge laundry for the family of five, including washing, folding, ironing, and putting clothes away.
  • Light housekeeping of 8,000sf home.
  • Maintain household organization, tidiness, and general upkeep.
  • Prepare meals primarily for the children, including dinner and make-ahead meals.
  • Run household errands, including shopping and other family-related tasks.
  • Grocery shopping.
  • Assist with childcare as needed around the children's active sports schedules.
  • Work collaboratively with the family and existing cleaning service to ensure the household runs smoothly.
