About Us: At BoozmanHof Regional Eye Clinic, we have proudly served as Northwest Arkansas's trusted partner in eye care for more than 45 years. Since 1977, our mission has been simple: to help you see clearly and live life to the fullest. Our practice combines advanced technology, expert care, and a heartfelt commitment to our patients. We are looking for a Ophthalmic Technician who shares our core values and is ready to make a meaningful impact.

Duties

  • Assist doctors during examinations and procedures by preparing the necessary instruments and equipment.
  • Perform preliminary tests, including measuring visual acuity, intraocular pressure, and pupil reactions. Includes visual fields, OCT, IOM, biometry, pachymetry, refraction, and more.
  • Record patient medical histories and vital signs accurately.
  • Educate patients on eye health, treatment options, and post-operative care.
  • Handle phone calls, patient triage, and administrative tasks to assist the provider.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance patient experience and streamline clinic operations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of medical office practices and medical terminology.
  • Familiarity with medications and ocular disease processes.
  • Commitment to excellence in patient care and relations.

  • Experience is preferred but not required.
