About Healthy Eyes Optometry

Dedicated to helping people see for the first time, Dr. Jing Han, O.D., established Healthy Eyes Optometry in 2006 and opened multiple locations serving Northern California. The practice provides full-service optometry to families and residents in Merced, Placerville, and Sacramento counties of all ages, visual and medical diagnoses. The team of Optometrists is committed to improving the quality of patients' daily activities and specializes in glaucoma, performance eyewear, and surgical co-management. To gain momentum and contribute to the expansion of Healthy Eyes Optometry, Dr. Han is looking to add an Optometrist to the cross-trained team.

To ensure patients see to their maximum potential, Healthy Eyes Optometry utilizes a variety of advanced technology to test the individual's overall health and visual needs. The practice is well-appointed with automated optical equipment and behind-the-scenes functional technology that allows patients to receive the best quality eye care. To efficiently serve patients, online appointment scheduling and office communications are offered via text messaging. In addition, patients will enjoy personalized attention from the Opticians as they browse a wide selection of fashionable eyewear for all budgets.

About the Optometrist Opening

Healthy Eyes Optometry is seeking an Optometrist passionate about providing patient-centric care and individualized treatment plans. In this role, you'll practice full-scope optometry, including in-depth eye exams, diagnosing and treating eye conditions, prescribing glasses and contacts. The position is full-time Monday through Friday with possible Saturdays, with 7 to 8 hour patient care days. This is an excellent opportunity to serve a diverse community and directly impact the growth of Healthy Eyes Optometry. Compensation and benefits will be commensurate with experience. In this role, you will see 15 to 17 exams per day, with 3 to 4 medical or follow up visits as well.

To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate leadership, communication, interpersonal skills, and compassion for patient health and safety. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, service-oriented, and dedicated, with a talent for promoting patient savings and practice growth.

The minimum qualifications include:

  • Optometry license in the state of California
