Come work for Western Slope In-Home Care and make a difference! You will get the opportunity to provide compassionate care to individuals in their home and give back to the elder blind or disabled. Western Slope In-Home Care provides home care services to Medicaid, VA, LTC insurance, and private pay clients who want to remain independent and live in their own homes. Responsibilities
- Perform housekeeping duties
- Plan and prepare meals
- Offer activities that are essential for daily living by assisting patients
- Remind clients to take prescribed medication.
- Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctor's appointments, walks etc.)
- Assist with personal care and hygiene
- Complete the client's shopping or accompany them to do so successfully
- Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
Ideal Candidates will:
- Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Promote personal safety and a safe environment for clients.
- Maintain compliance with agency policy, procedures, and job requirements.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- CNA a plus but not required.
