Job description

Summary
The Image Production Specialist, within the Operational Marketing & Production team, drives the end-to-end coordination and execution of product imagery and packshots. This role owns the critical 'missing images' process, ensuring all product photography is accurately produced, formatted, and centralized within master databases (PIM, MAM, MMC) for global stakeholder access. Blending technical execution with operational oversight, the Specialist takes in-house photos, performs precise Photoshop edits, and holds internal teams and external agencies accountable to strict timelines. This highly operational role serves as the final gatekeeper, enforcing strict formatting, naming conventions, and copy/artwork accuracy before assets go live in the market.
What You'll Do
Essential Functions
  • Own the 'missing images' process by maintaining trackers, pulling weekly exports, and maintaining the status of each asset to ensure readiness for all stakeholders.
  • Perform in-house photography to create packshots and execute technical image edits in Photoshop (e.g., removing backgrounds, ensuring correct sizing, DPI, and placement, saving as transparent TIF files) adhering to strict naming conventions.
  • Upload and organize final vendor and in-house packshots into the correct folders within the master databases (PIM, MAM).
  • Actively coordinate with other departments to gain file approvals and hold stakeholders accountable for completing their workflow tasks on time.
  • Collaborate with external agencies for larger image editing scopes, which includes requesting quotes, entering data into finance sheets, providing vendor briefs, and following up to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Manages projects, work processes, systems, and/or procedures to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Update guidelines, standard operating procedures, and instructional materials related to image production workflows.
    Identify, develop, and propose opportunities for business and process improvement.
  • Commute to local stores to procure and purchase products required for in-house photography and packshot production.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, with a heavy focus on technical production editing (clipping paths, background removal, and asset resizing).
  • Strong project management abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently with excellent follow-through skills.
  • Proficient in Google Suite.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Photography experience.
  • Knowledge of AI capabilities to speed production (when applicable).
Required Education, Certifications/ Licenses, Related Experience
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a related field.
  • In lieu of degree, 5+ years of experience in related field will meet the education and related experience requirements listed above.
Physical Job Requirements
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced working environment, with the capability to switch job functions/roles quickly.
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Ability to spend more than half the time viewing computer monitors.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
