Indiana University Health is seeking a skilled and compassionate Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our dynamic Radiology team in downtown Indianapolis. This is an exciting opportunity for a Family Nurse Practitioner or Nurse Practitioner with experience in minimally invasive radiologic procedures to contribute to a high-performing, patient-centered team.
Our department of Radiology is known for delivering top-tier radiological services with a strong emphasis on teamwork, respect, and compassionate care. You'll work alongside expert radiologists and clinical staff in a collaborative environment that values innovation, excellence and service.
As a Radiology APP, you will play a vital role in performing and supporting image-guided procedures, including:
  • Thoracentesis
  • Paracentesis
  • Joint Injections and Aspirations
  • Lumbar Punctures
Additional duties include:
  • Conducting pre and post procedure assessments
  • Educating patients and families on procedures and recovery
  • Collaborating with radiologists and referring providers
  • Documenting clinical encounters and maintaining accurate records
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives and team meeting
Job Details
  • On call night/weekend/holiday coverage 7 on / 7 off
  • Monday thru Friday 5p - 7a / Saturday thru Sunday 7 a - 7p / Holidays 7a - 7a / Will also be required to work an 7 hour day shift per pay period.
Job Requirements
  • Current licensure as a FNP or NP in the state of Indiana
  • Certification by an accredited national board (e.g. AANP, ANCC)
  • Strong clinical judgement and procedural skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to compassionate, respectful and team-based care.
