Job description

Indiana University Health Medical Group along with the Indiana University School of Medicine Department of Radiology and Imaging Services is seeking a fellowship-trained Mammography Radiologist to join a growing team of highly skilled breast imaging specialists. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive breast imagining services across a multidisciplinary academic health system while contributing to the educational and scholarly missions of Indiana University School of Medicine.
This position offers the opportunity to practice leading-edge breast imaging in a collegial environment with access to advanced imaging technologies, robust clinical support, and opportunities for teaching, research and leadership development.
Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret and perform a full spectrum of breast imaging studies, including:
    • Digital screening and diagnostic mammography
    • Digital breast tomorsynthesis (DBT)
    • Breast ultrasound
    • Breast MRI
    • Contrast-enhanced mammography, as applicable
  • Perform image-guided breast procedures, including:
    • Stereotactic breast biopsies
    • Ultrasound-guided biopsies
    • MRI-guided biopsies
    • Localization procedures
    • Aspiration procedures
  • Collaborate with breast surgeons, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, pathologists, and primary care providers within a multidisciplinary breast care program.
  • Ensure timely, accurate, and patient-centered interpretation of imaging studies.
  • Participate in the education and mentorship of:
    • Medical students
    • Radiology residents
    • Breast imaging fellows
  • Contribute to curriculum development and educational initiatives.
  • Participate in departmental conferences, tumor boards, and scholarly activities.
Qualifications
  • MD/DO
  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited Radiology Residency
  • Fellowship training in Breast Imagining preferred
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology
  • Eligible for medical licensure in the state of Indiana
  • American Board of Radiology certification (or eligibility)
