Wound Care experience preferred.

Responsibilities & Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Perform personal care for patients and other duties as assigned under the direct supervision and guidance of professional nursing or physician personnel in assigned area.
  • Provides patient care during hyperbaric oxygen therapy and participates in hyperbaric chamber dives.  
  • The delivery of patient care at Kettering Medical Center (KMC) reflects the philosophies, missions, vision and values of the organization and wound care centers.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Successful completion of KMC nursing assistant trainee program, or successful completion of state testing nursing assistant program (STNA certification), surgical technician or completion of LPN, EMT or EMTP training.
  • Preferred training and experience in wound care management.
  • Current CPR certification
  • Completion of annual Corporate Integrity training
  • Maintains competencies & skills of specialty area of practice (see unit education files).
