Join RSUI's dynamic HR team as an HR Coordinator and play a valuable role in supporting diverse initiatives that drive our organization forward. In this cross-functional position, you'll work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to key HR functions including talent acquisition, onboarding, learning and development, and other critical areas. The ideal candidate will have prior HR experience, with a superior customer service orientation, and natural curiosity - a strong desire to learn and grow.
Strong working relationships are a key component of RSUI's team-oriented, high-performance culture. Our specialized area of industry focus requires real-time, in-person collaboration that fosters meaningful dialogue and strengthens professional connections. Team meetings, employee events, and other work obligations also often require an in-person presence. This position will work RSUI's hybrid schedule, which requires at least three days weekly in the office.

Responsibilities:

  • Actively supports the full cycle talent acquisition process including external candidate sourcing, internal employee development, interviews, assessment creation, logistics coordination, etc.
  • Assists in the new hire onboarding process including pre-employment checks, new hire setups, and first day orientation.
  • Supports collegiate and career fair recruitment efforts including internship programs, planning and logistics coordination, and representing RSUI at external recruitment events.
  • Assists with logistics coordination for internal activities, trainings and meetings.
  • Provides administrative support as needed related to office services, scheduling, placing orders, creating surveys and presentations, meeting agendas, reporting, etc.
  • Cross-training and back-up support for functions like HR systems and communications, learning and development, RSUI's matching gift and community support program (RSUI Cares), and Corporate Events.
  • Directs employees appropriately regarding their questions about Human Resources issues, policies and/or procedures.
  • May perform other related tasks as assigned, depending on business need.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in HR or a related business field strongly preferred.
  • 2-4+ years of previous HR experience required, ideally focused in talent acquisition, HR administrative support, or employee development, preferably in a professional services setting.
  • Foundational understanding of HR issues, legal considerations, etc., required.
  • Willingness to ask questions, build on concepts, and tackle any task - large or small - with enthusiasm.
  • Familiarity with HR systems a plus, UKG in particular.
  • Demonstrated ability to be discrete and handle confidential and sensitive matters appropriately.
  • Detail-oriented, efficient and organized with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Must possess a positive demeanor, professionalism and the ability to work independently.
  • Customer service excellence is mandatory; able to effectively support employees at all levels with diverse backgrounds.
  • Works effectively in a fast-paced environment so that multiple deadlines are met successfully.
  • Strong analytical skills with good judgment and problem-solving abilities are critical.
  • Must have the ability to build rapport, inspire confidence, establish trust and credibility, and be a part of a team.
  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written, are a must.
  • Must be flexible and adaptable enough to respond to changing or competing priorities.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
