The newly acquired Hampton Inn & Suites Fort Myers-Estero/FGCU is seeking a passionate, hands-on Hotel Manager who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment and is excited to help shape the future of a hotel entering an exciting new chapter.

This is not a behind-the-desk leadership role. Our leaders are visible, engaged, and actively involved in the day-to-day operation of the hotel. If you enjoy developing high-performing teams, delivering exceptional guest experiences, and leading by example, we'd love to hear from you.

The Opportunity

As Hotel Manager, you will serve as the senior on-property operational leader responsible for the overall day-to-day performance of the hotel while fostering a culture centered on exceptional guest service, associate engagement, operational excellence, and financial success.

Reporting directly to the Regional Director of Operations, you will lead the hotel's daily operations, develop department leaders, drive financial performance, and ensure every aspect of the guest experience reflects Hampton by Hilton's brand standards and Colwen Hotels' commitment to hospitality excellence.

This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced hotel leader who enjoys building strong teams, driving results, and helping position a newly acquired hotel for long-term success.

About Colwen Hotels

At Colwen Hotels, we believe hospitality is powered by people, passion, and innovation.

Built on hard work, integrity, and authentic relationships, we empower our associates to bring forward-thinking ideas to life, deliver memorable guest experiences, and build rewarding careers.

With nearly 50 hotels across nine states and a growing development pipeline, Colwen Hotels offers hospitality professionals exceptional opportunities for career growth, leadership development, and advancement.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll play a critical leadership role by:

  • Leading the day-to-day operations across Front Office, Housekeeping, Engineering, Food & Beverage, Accounting, and all hotel departments.
  • Acting as the senior on-property operational leader, ensuring department leaders are aligned, accountable, and successfully executing strategic initiatives established by the Regional Director of Operations.
  • Creating an exceptional guest experience through service excellence and operational consistency.
  • Hiring, coaching, mentoring, and developing associates while building a highly engaged and high-performing team.
  • Driving associate engagement, accountability, and performance through regular coaching, recognition, and professional development.
  • Ensuring compliance with Hilton brand standards, company policies, operational procedures, and safety requirements.
  • Conducting routine property inspections to maintain exceptional quality, cleanliness, safety, and curb appeal.
  • Partnering with department leaders to improve operational efficiencies, guest satisfaction scores, and overall hotel performance.
  • Assisting in the development and management of the hotel's annual operating budget while monitoring revenues, labor costs, expenses, and departmental productivity.
  • Analyzing financial reports, forecasting business trends, controlling costs, and implementing strategies that maximize profitability and operational performance.
  • Working closely with the Regional Director of Operations to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and execute strategic business initiatives.
  • Promoting a positive, collaborative, and service-focused culture that reflects the values of Colwen Hotels.

What You Bring

We're looking for a hospitality leader who combines operational expertise with genuine passion for people and guest service.

Qualified candidates will possess:

  • Five or more years of progressive hotel leadership experience.
  • Previous experience as a Hotel Manager, Assistant General Manager, or comparable hotel operations leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of hotel operations across multiple departments, including Front Office, Housekeeping, Engineering, Food & Beverage, and Accounting.
  • Demonstrated success leading, coaching, and developing high-performing teams.
  • Experience managing hotel financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, labor management, expense control, and revenue optimization.
  • Outstanding leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • A hands-on leadership style with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and building engaged teams.
  • Hilton brand experience is preferred but not required.

What We Offer

We believe great associates create great guest experiences. That's why we invest in our people.

Benefits & Perks include:

  • Medical Insurance with Company-Funded HRA
  • Dental & Vision Insurance
  • Flexible Spending Accounts
  • 401(k) with Employer Match (Traditional & Roth)
  • Paid Time Off
  • Employee Assistance Program
  • Hotel Discount Travel Program for Associates & Family
  • Exclusive Travel, Retail & Entertainment Discounts
  • Ongoing Training & Leadership Development Programs
  • Career Growth Opportunities Across Our Expanding Portfolio

If you're an energetic hospitality leader who enjoys building exceptional teams, delivering memorable guest experiences, and making a meaningful impact, we'd love to hear from you.
