Job description

Full Time Barn Hand: Cordillera Equestrian Center is seeking a hard-working and engaging individual for a barn hand position. Our Equestrian Center is located on 300 acres of land in Boerne's Hill Country. Currently we have 24 horses, but we are still growing. We cater to Cordillera Ranch members and their guests. The barn offers boarding, English and western horseback riding lessons, guided trail rides, kids' horse camps, parties, riding clinics, and social events.
Job Description: This is a full-time position feeding and providing daily care for the horses, barn upkeep, exercising horses, possibly teaching lessons, and giving guided trail rides throughout the property. For lessons, we serve a wide range of riders- beginners, experienced, children, adults, English, western, pleasure, jumping, etc.
Requirements
We are looking for someone with horse experience, knowledgeable and experienced individuals able to mend fences, perform barn maintenance, and know their way around a working horse ranch. Cordillera Ranch is a private Residential area and does not provide housing or relocation packages for this position.
Compensation is based on capabilities and experience.
