Job Summary:
Wightman is a full-service architectural, civil engineering, and land surveying firm established in 1946. They are seeking an IT Help Desk Technician to provide efficient technical assistance to users, manage Helpdesk ticket systems, and perform troubleshooting and installation of hardware and software.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Initial point of contact for users seeking assistance via phone, email, ticket and Teams
โ€ข Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions
โ€ข Manage Helpdesk ticket system
โ€ข Install, change, and repair computer hardware and software
โ€ข Perform routine software checks of shared workstations and conference room technology
โ€ข Manage replacement technology equipment stock
โ€ข Routine visits to regional offices for staff support
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข Proven problem-solving skillset, while technically minded and efficient
โ€ข Ability to work in a team environment, and able to work with employees both in-person and remote
โ€ข Demonstrates knowledge of computer hardware, software, and mobile devices
