Job description

AdventHealth Medical Group in Northwest Georgia is looking for a dedicated, energetic full-time urologist to join a thriving and highly regarded Urology practice.  This opportunity would join our growing team at AdventHealth Redmond, a 230-bed full-service hospital located in beautiful Rome, GA (approximately one hour from Atlanta & Chattanooga, TN). 
We have dedicated block time in the OR and robotic availability.  The ideal candidate would plan to see a mix of general urology in both the inpatient and outpatient settings.   A subspecialty niche interest and/or fellowship training would be welcomed as part of the program’s growth and development.   Physician support and mentorship is available (as needed).  We also have dedicated practice APP’s and a shared, reasonable call coverage model.  We are located in a wonderful community that provides for a terrific atmosphere both professionally and personally.

Here is a brief overview of our opportunity:

  • Primary and secondary service area population greater than 100,000
  • Established referral base with fast-growing number of employed primary care physicians
  • Recent renovations and equipment upgrades
  • Da Vinci 5 & Xi Robot on-site
  • Strong hospital & surgical support with highly trained OR staff
  • Clinic and surgical schedule with dedicated OR time
  • Support / Care Team: Two experienced Urologists, APPs, and full clinical support staff
  • Manageable Call Schedule: 1:4 Rotation

Requirements for the position:

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible by the American Board of Urology. 
  • Eligible to be state licensed in the state of Georgia.
  • Fellowship Trained (Preferred)
  • High caliber, quality focused, innovative physicians should apply.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
