THE ROLE
The Truth is seeking dependable, hardworking Part-Time Facilities Staff to help maintain a clean, safe, and well-maintained venue for guests, artists, and staff. Facilities Staff play a key role in supporting venue operations by assisting with event setup, maintaining cleanliness throughout the venue, completing facility-related tasks, and helping prepare the venue before, during, and after every event.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
  • Works directly with the Facilities Manager and Facilities Supervisors to perform day of show duties, as well as, day to day operations
  • Follow up with Security and Guest Services teams to ensure that service standards are met
  • Perform opening/running/closing duties
  • Maintain line of sight/atmosphere control by circulating through work area and reporting any issues encountered
  • Respond promptly to facility-related requests from venue departments during events
  • Assist with maintaining the exterior appearance of the venue, including sidewalks, planters, loading dock areas, and outdoor gathering spaces
  • Perform routine facility maintenance such as painting, minor repairs, replacing light bulbs, assembling furniture, and other general upkeep
  • Restock restroom supplies, paper products, and other facility inventory throughout events
  • Fosters positive experiences for guests, staff, and other stakeholders in a manner that establishes the venue as a safe, enjoyable, and supportive environment

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
  • Working knowledge of high-volume operations and guest relations
  • Previous experience in facilities, maintenance, custodial services, construction, or a related field preferred
  • Skills in guest relations/staff relations- Assessing and anticipating special needs of guests
  • Prioritization of duties and effective communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks/issues at one time effectively, with an upbeat attitude
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • High School Diploma required
