Job Summary
Live-In Caregiver
We are seeking compassionate and dependable Personal Care Assistants to provide support and companionship in clients homes. You will assist with personal care, household tasks, and social interaction, helping enhance your clients quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
  • Medication Reminders and health monitoring as directed.
  • Assist with daily living activities, including meal preparation, shopping/errands and light housekeeping.
  • Engage clients in social and recreational activities to promote mental well-being.
  • Build trusting relationships with clients and their families for better care outcomes.
  • Follow individualized care plans to ensure each client's specific needs are met, and report changes in health status.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in caregiving is a plus.
  • Previous experience in home health care or a related field preferred.
  • Reliable transportation for client visits.
  • Strong communication skills and compassionate demeanor.
  • Candidates may be required to complete a background check as a condition of employment, consistent with Connecticut state regulations and applicable federal law.
