Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Heavy Equipment Operator (Cat 329) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating excavators for trenching duck banks.

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Operate heavy equipment such as excavators for trenching.
  • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on all equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are maintained.
  • Collaborate with project managers and team members to interpret plans and execute tasks accurately within project timelines.
  • Follow all safety protocols and construction site regulations diligently to prevent accidents and ensure a secure work environment.
  • Assist with site setup, material staging, and cleanup activities as needed to support ongoing construction operations.

Requirements

  • Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment- excavators.
  • Real ID or Passport (Must be able to get base access)
  • Must pass Background and pre-Employment drug screening
  • Construction site experience demonstrating familiarity with safety procedures and site protocols.
  • Ability to read technical manuals and interpret construction plans accurately.
  • Knowledge of various machinery brands such as Caterpillar or similar equipment is preferred.
