Job Posting: Licensed Psychologist (Correctional Healthcare)
Role: Licensed Psychologist
Location: Leavenworth, KS (100% Onsite)
Salary: $165,000 - $175,000 Annually
Job Type: Full-Time
Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and licensed Clinical Psychologist to join our mental health team within a fast-paced institutional/correctional facility. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting psychological screenings, comprehensive assessments, and clinical evaluations. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team-including psychiatrists, physicians, and social workers-to develop and monitor effective treatment plans and provide crisis intervention when necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct psychological screenings and evaluations based on clinical interviews and record reviews.
  • Provide individual treatment and immediate crisis intervention to patients.
  • Collaborate with mental health teams to implement and monitor treatment effectiveness.
  • Perform program evaluations and provide consultation to staff members.
  • Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure compliance with institutional standards.

Required Qualifications:
  • Education: Doctoral degree in Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) from an accredited institution.
  • License: Must possess an active and unrestricted license to practice psychology in the state of Kansas.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience.
  • Specialized Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a comparable institutional or correctional role is required.
