The pay range for this position is $30 to $36 and is dependent on your experience as a professional carpenter and you must live in Broward County.

This is a Commission Based role and we are seeking professionals with the mindset to upsell additional services to support our client needs. Repeat business and referrals are a cornerstone of our client relationships and our Service Professionals are those front line ambassadors.

Your Responsibilities as a Carpentry Professional

  • Completing Maintenance & Repairs - You'll be completing small to medium maintenance and repairs for home and commercial projects.The project length can range from two hours to two days.
  • Making Recommendations and Managing Expectations with Customers - You'll communicate with customers to help them understand what they need to have done and manage expectations about the scope of work and costs.
  • Create Life-Long Customers - Deliver a great experience that wows life-long repeat customers.You will follow the Mr. Handyman Way - a repeatable process that makes it easy to wow the customer every time.


Key Responsibilities

  • Multi-Trade Execution: Deliver top-tier results across finish carpentry, advanced drywall repair, flooring installations, door/window hardware, and commercial facility maintenance.
  • Project Leadership: Assess job sites, troubleshoot unexpected structural or material issues on the fly, and accurately estimate time and materials when required.
  • Client Relations: Serve as the professional face of the company, communicating clearly with homeowners and commercial property managers to build trust and referrals.
  • Efficiency & Safety: Maintain a clean, organized workspace and utilize modern scheduling/field management systems effectively.


Job Requirements

These are the minimum requirements to be considered for this position.

  • Live within the area, Broward County is required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 8+ years of documented experience in residential remodeling, commercial property maintenance, or multi-trade contracting.
  • Technical Mastery: Deep knowledge of building materials, hardware specs, and correct installation methods. You know the right way to do things, not the fast shortcut.
  • Professional Gear: Ownership of a comprehensive set of professional-grade hand and power tools.
  • Transport: A reliable, clean, and well-maintained work truck or van suitable for transporting tools and materials to job sites.
  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using modern field management and scheduling software on a smartphone or tablet.
  • Background & Credentials: Must possess a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and be able to pass a background check.
