Job description

Choices in Community Living provides professional direct care services for individuals with autism, cerebral palsy, Down Syndrome and other developmental disabilities. You will be working in group homes and will be providing direct services to individuals with developmental disabilities including general housekeeping, meal planning/cooking, passing medications, going on outings, transporting, assisting with bathing and toileting needs and other various tasks.

Our mission is assisting people with developmental disabilities to have access to opportunities to build safe, healthy and meaningful lives in the community. We are looking for Caring, Compassionate applicants that are detail oriented, who also share a passion for providing the best services possible to the individuals we serve.

Applicant must be able to handle high stress environments, along with the possibility of lifting excess of 50 pounds or more and being on their feet for multiple hours. Applicant must also be able to pass a physical & drug screen as well as a Background Check.

Applicants are required to have:

  • Valid Drivers License (Less than 6 points)

We offer Sign on Bonuses 6 months after hire date for Applicants that are currently certified in:

  • First Aid/CPR ($50/each maximum $100.00)
  • Med Admin (Delegated Nursing) $200.00
  • STNA/CNA $100.00
  • PATH CERTIFICATION: CIP $250.00
  • PATH CERTIFICATION: CAP $500.00
  • Post High School Degrees/Advanced certifications $250.00

Previous experience preferred, but not required.
