- Complete special maintenance and landscaping projects on the golf course.
- Maintain the greens, including mowing, topdressing, plugging, grooming, verticutting, sodding, ball mark repairs, syringing, and identifying insects.
- Change cups, pin locations, and tee placements; repair divots.
- Check and maintain good condition of cups, flags, and tee markers.
- Check ball washers, empty trash, and remove course debris.
- Set up course according to weather, caliber of players, and amount of play.
- Assist in applying pesticides throughout property according to state safety regulations.
- Clean and maintain spray equipment and chemical storage area.
- Inventory pesticides and safe storage equipment.
- Communicate effectively with all team members and guests.
- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor or needs of the club.
Requirements
- One year of golf course maintenance experience
- Understanding of the game of golf and importance of course conditions
- High level of attention to detail
