Position:            Live-in or Live-out Housekeeper

Schedule:          Monday – Friday (9am – 5pm)

Location:           Washington, CT

Salary:                $85,000 – 95,000 depending on experience plus benefits

 

Overview:

Active family is currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Full-time Housekeeper to join our team in Washington, CT. The ideal candidate will have formal home experience, showcasing a high level of expertise in both regular and deep cleaning, as well as formal table service.

Responsibilities:

·      Regular and Deep Cleaning:

o  Perform thorough and meticulous cleaning of all designated areas within the residence, ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and organization is maintained

o  Handle delicate and valuable items with utmost care

o  Silver care, polish wood surfaces


·      Laundry:

o  Handle all aspects of laundry, including washing, drying, ironing clothing, linens, and other fabrics

o  Manage delicate fabrics and follow specific care instructions and proper handling for various materials

o  Maintain the organization of closets and storage areas.

 

Qualifications:

·      Previous experience as a Housekeeper in a formal home setting is essential

·      Strong knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and products with ability to handle delicate materials

·      Comfortable with dogs (3)

·      Excellent organizational and time management skills

·      Detail-oriented with strong communication and interpersonal skills

·      Driver’s license and ability to drive in all weather and settings
