Job Summary
We're looking for a CNC Operator to join our Blade Manufacturing team. In this hands-on role, you'll set up, program, and operate CNC and conventional machines used to manufacture critical aerospace components. At Chromalloy Carson City, your work directly supports aviation safety and reliability. Our teams manufacture and repair critical aerospace components used throughout the global aviation industry.
Shift: Primarily Monday-Friday (schedule flexibility required; days and hours may vary based on business needs, including weekends)
Hours: 7:00 AM-3:30 PM, 1st Shift
Sign-On Bonus: $1,000
What You'll Do
  • Program, set up, and operate CNC and conventional machines
  • Load and edit machine programs as needed
  • Set up tooling, fixtures, and materials
  • Produce parts to engineering and production specifications
  • Inspect and measure parts using precision measuring tools
  • Perform minor part modifications and finishing work
  • Follow assembly, production, and quality requirements
  • Utilize computerized production tracking systems
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
  • Support 5S, Lean, and continuous improvement initiatives

What We're Looking For
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of CNC machining or machine operation experience preferred
  • Experience using precision measuring tools and inspection equipment
  • Ability to read and follow work instructions and specifications
  • Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Reliable, safety-focused, and able to work independently or as part of a team

The salary range for this position reflects a broad spectrum of experience levels. Individual compensation within the range is determined by multiple factors, including relevant experience, education, certifications, job related skills, internal equity, and market conditions. We evaluate each candidate individually to ensure fair and competitive pay decisions.
