Job description

Piedmont Healthcare is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Psychiatrist to join our growing behavioral health team. This is an In-patient position.
Position Highlights:
  • Primary outpatient psychiatry
  • Assist in coverage of inpatient services as needed
  • Expected schedule: 7 on / 7 off
  • Required to supervise mid-levels (APP's)
  • Opportunities to pick up additional shifts for consults via telehealth and/or in-person across the Piedmont system
  • Open to supervision of medical students
  • Call (if needed) for outpatient clinic
  • Epic EMR

Qualifications:
  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Psychiatry
  • Active or eligible for medical licensure in Georgia
  • Experience supervising APP's is preferred
  • Strong clinical and leadership skills Provide evaluation and management of psychiatric patients
  • Previous experience with ketamine and TMS preferred
  • Experience treating both adults and adolescents preferred
