Job description

The Frac Sand CDL Driver plays a critical role in safely transporting frac sand and related materials to various locations. This independent position requires expertise in commercial driving, careful vehicle inspection, and adherence to safety standards to ensure timely and secure delivery while maintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Operate commercial trucks to transport frac sand loads efficiently
  • Inspect vehicles before and after routes to ensure mechanical safety
  • Comply with all safety regulations and company policies
  • Navigate assigned routes accurately to meet delivery schedules
  • Document logs and maintain accurate driving records
  • Secure loads properly to prevent shifting or spillage during transit
  • Perform routine equipment maintenance and report issues promptly

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of commercial driving experience
  • Valid CDL driving license
  • Pec Card certification
  • H2S Certification
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle inspection and safety compliance
  • Effective time management and route navigation skills
  • Clear communication abilities
  • Physical stamina to handle manual tasks and long hours
  • Problem-solving skills to address unexpected situations
  • 25% of each load to start
  • 3-4 loads a day or more depending on you hustle
