Job Description:
M&J Enterprises Construction Inc is seeking motivated and reliable Fiber Placement Laborers to support underground and aerial fiber optic construction projects. This role involves assisting with the installation, placement, and maintenance of fiber optic cable in various environments.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with fiber cable placement in conduit, microduct, and aerial systems
- Support jetting, pulling, and blowing fiber operations
- Set up and maintain job sites
- Handle tools, equipment, and materials safely and efficiently
- Assist with locating ducts, handholes, and vaults
- Follow directions from supervisors and crew leads
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in fiber optic construction or underground utilities preferred
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor
- Valid driver’s license (CDL is a plus)
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to work as part of a team
