POSITION SUMMARY

Under the direction of the Farm Manager, responsible for creating family memories for each and every guest.

Functions of the JobEssential Functions
  • Communicate with Farm Manager.
  • Welcome guests to the farm and answer any questions that they might have.
  • Direct guests to other areas on the farm.
  • Handle cash, check, credit card and gift certificate payments
  • Maintain clean and orderly work areas.
  • Follow all guidelines and procedures outlined in department and health and safety manuals and as set by the Farm Manager.
  • Communicate with the rest of the farm employees ensuring that each guest has a fun and safe experience
  • Performs other duties as needed or assigned
Physical/Visual Activities or Demands
  1. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, climb, stoop and crouch, push, pull, reach, grasp, feel, talk and hear.
  2. Generally light physical effort. The employee is required to lift more than 50 lbs. rarely and/or 5 to 25 lbs. occasionally.
  3. Specific vision abilities required by this job include clarity of vision at a distance of 20 inches or less with the ability to judge distance and space relationships along with adjusting the eye to bring objects into sharp focus.

POSITION QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTSKnowledge

Prior customer service experience preferred.
