A private family in scenic Defiance, Missouri is seeking a dependable, trustworthy, and experienced full-time live-in housekeeper to join our household immediately. We are looking for someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean, organized home and enjoys preparing simple, healthy meals. The role primarily focuses on housekeeping with one trained pet in the home and there are no childcare responsibilities.
This is a long-term opportunity for someone who values stability, respect, and a comfortable living environment.
Responsibilities
  • Daily housekeeping and maintaining an organized home
  • Laundry, ironing, and linen care
  • Kitchen cleaning and organization
  • Preparing light meals and basic cooking
  • Create a welcoming home environment
  • Grocery shopping and household errands as needed
  • Keeping household supplies organized and stocked
  • Occasional assistance with an older family member if needed (not a caregiving position)

Schedule
  • Full-time, live-in position
  • Typically five days per week, generally 40-50 hours per week
  • Two regular days off each week
