Avanta Care is seeking dedicated and compassionate caregivers who are interested in learning and growing within the senior care industry. Our Companion Caregivers must be reliable, dependable, honest, and caring, with a strong commitment to supporting clients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide companionship and engage in conversation with clients
  • Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and feeding
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks including laundry and linen changes
  • Lay out clothing and assist clients with dressing
  • Plan and prepare meals
  • Provide medication reminders
  • Assist with transportation to and from appointments
  • Help family members understand and follow safe care techniques
  • Qualifications
  • Ability to treat clients with dignity and respect
  • Ability to understand and follow the client’s care plan
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to new situations
