Job description

Description

Painter's primary responsibilities include the maintenance and inspection of company properties and painting tanks. Person needs to be safety conscious, have a strong mechanical aptitude and possess a strong attention to detail. The painter will be working in extreme weather environments. Position entails maintenance projects such as painting tanks, filling cylinders and the upkeep of company plant. They need to be able to follow company policies and procedures, along with DOT regulations, state and local laws and complete other duties as assigned. Must comply with N.F.P.A. Pamphlets 54 and 58.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Must be capable of working in extreme temperatures, humidity, and other environmental conditions as the majority of the job functions are outdoors in the elements.

- Communicate clearly both written and verbally in the English language.

- Able to adjust schedule to fit manager's requirements and requests or seasonal weather patterns.

- Dependability and reliability are essential.


COMPANY SPECIFIC STANDARDS

- Ability to read, interpret, and understand the English language to understand task procedures, product labels, work orders, informational and warning signage.

- Communicate clearly both written and verbally in the English language.


This is a seasonal non-exempt hourly position, generally working from June through beginning of September.
