Job description

The selected Consultants will work closely with the designated I.T. supervisor, project managers and other developers in an agile development environment. The work scope of the consultant will include requirements gathering, application design, application development, testing, deployment and technical support.
The Consultants, in working with ODPS staff, will be responsible for new development and/or rewriting legacy applications to .NET applications utilizing C#, ASP.NET Core MVC, Web API, Windows Forms, SQL Server, SSRS, SSIS and other technologies.
The new applications will implement an N-tier architecture and comply with ODPS coding standards:
  • Strong communication/ leadership skills.
  • Strong influence, collaboration and negotiation experience.
  • Ability to collaborate with supporting resources across business and/or functional lines.
  • Have excellent oral and written skills/possess strong meeting and work session facilitation skills.
  • Have the ability to work independently and as part of a team, the ability to manage time and resources to meet assigned deadlines.
  • Have strong understanding of prioritization stemming from the elicitation of system and/or user requirements.
  • Have excellent organizational skills, proven analytical, planning, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Must be knowledgeable in the English language/speak clearly and understandably use the English language.
  • Provides technical guidance and mentoring to technical staff.

Requirements:
  • .NET Web Developer developing ASP.NET MVC applications with ADO.NET - Required 10 Years.
  • ASP.NET development using C# - Required 10 Years.
  • SQL Server database design and development, including query optimization, tables, views, stored procedures, and functions - Required 10 Years.
  • Developing web applications using .NET Framework4.0 or higher - Required 10 Years.
  • Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) experience developing and securing Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) - Required 10 Years.
  • N-tier environments as related to development and deployment - Required 10 Years.
  • Code repository, code promotion, and recovery strategies using TFS - Required 10 Years.
  • Developing applications using Entity Framework (EF) 4.0 or later - Required 5 Years.
  • Developing reports using SSRS and SSIS and making them accessible within an MVC web application - Required 5 Years.
  • Developing projects using Agile methodology with TFS / DevOps - Required 5 Years.
