Salary Range: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 Salary

The Logistics Supervisor oversees customer service, personnel, and resource management for VPPS’ operations in a specific marketing area/region. This position is responsible for analyzing supplied data and safely and efficiently deploying equipment and drivers. Interested applicants must live in, commute to, or be willing to relocate to the Visalia, CA area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ability to objectively manage and direct CMV drivers in the safe and efficient delivery of fuels and lubricants
  • Effectively communicate and coordinate with divisional management in the operational and inventory function of local terminals/plants
  • Work independently and effectively in the absence of direct oversight
  • Excel at consistent, accurate, and prompt communication up and down the chain of command.
  • Comply with regional, state, and federal regulatory expectations
  • React to rapid changes in demand regarding inventory and market growth
Qualifications and Experience
  • Excellent English‑language oral communication skills; good written and analytical skills; fluency in the Spanish language is a plus but not required
  • Thorough understanding of office and internet/network‑based software applications.
  • Valid California driver’s license; Commercial Motor Vehicle license a plus
  • Ability to pass appropriate musculoskeletal fitness tests and drug and alcohol tests
  • Experience in the fuel industry or CMV operator experience is a plus but not required.
