AspectLive In Dog BoardingPet Sitting
Work EnvironmentProvides care at a boarding facility or the caregiver's home, often in a dedicated spaceProvides care at the pet owner's home, offering one-on-one attention
Credentials/CertificationsOften requires pet care experience, certifications like pet first aid, but less formal than veterinary rolesSimilar certifications, with emphasis on trustworthiness and pet handling skills

Both roles involve caring for pets, but Live In Dog Boarding typically occurs in a dedicated facility or caregiver's home, providing a more structured environment. Pet Sitting usually involves visiting the pet's home, offering personalized, one-on-one care. The choice depends on the pet owner's preferences and the caregiver's setup.
