Job description

Spurwink is hiring hard-working candidates like you to become Direct Support Professionals at their facility in Limerick.

We're looking for caring compassionate people to help the adults who live in our residential homes. Direct Support Professionals (DSP) care for people with developmental disabilities and/or brain injury. Duties include helping to cook meals, household upkeep, assisting clients with personal hygiene and interpersonal skills, as well as transporting clients to community events. Help clients develop and strengthen interpersonal and coping skills while guiding them in creating positive relationships with family and peers. In this role, you will serve as an invaluable role model to adults with disabilities. This is a Per Diem schedule.

DUTIES:

Provide support to adults with intellectual disabilities in agency homes, to include medication administration, assisting with activities of daily living and personal care, community integration and providing positive behavioral supports.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma or equivalent. All applicants must maintain a current driver's license and a clean driving record as outlined in Spurwink's Driving policy.
