Location: Jefferson County, KY 40291
Start Date: ASAP
Helper Rate: $15 per hour

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable helper to support a male client, at their 60's recovering from a stroke. He is currently residing in a nursing facility and is expected to remain there for another 3–4 months.

The family is planning ahead and looking for a caregiver who can provide support once he transitions back home.

Care Responsibilities

  • Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
  • Provide support with daily routines
  • Assist with personal care and mobility as needed
  • Provide companionship and encouragement
  • Help Edward maintain a safe and comfortable home environment
  • Support his transition from the nursing facility back to home
Schedule
  • 4 days per week
  • A few hours per visit
  • Exact days and hours to be determined

Ideal Candidate

  • Experience caring for clients recovering from a stroke preferred
  • Comfortable assisting with ADLs and personal care
  • Patient, compassionate, and dependable
  • Able to provide respectful support while encouraging independence
