Full time RN needed for Recovery Center.


Schedule: Monday-Friday 3p-11p alternating weekends.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

A. Assists the Medical Director and MD staff with health screenings and physical exams that meet with his/her satisfaction.
B. Provide nursing screenings, interviews and evaluations in a professional and engaging manner, including the required information, organizing it for key personnel to suggest level of care for each client assigned, and clearly presenting the information to the psychiatrist and treatment team.
C. Provide on-call support to Mobile Crisis Team.
D. Complete the required written documentation within one hour of admission into detox/crisis program
E. Provide medical care in a professional, compassionate and effective manner, and in keeping with established standards.
F. Maintain the security of the medications in the storage and dosing areas, ensuring that all supplies are accounted for.
G. Inspect/oversee integrity of medical area ensuring that it is clean and well-stocked on a daily basis
H. Provide treatment planning by preparing the initial diagnosis; describing strengths, preferences and needs; and identify treatment goals and strategies for each client assigned. Complete and document the treatment/service plan by the time the client enters the service.
I. Monitor and document client medications from prescribing physicians both inside and outside of the organization.
J. Work with clinical staff to ensure appropriate documentation of Medicaid clients.
K. Administer and dispense medications and prepare and monitor medication dosages, ensuring that each client receives the proper dosage in a timely manner.
L. Assist with education of topics pertinent to the program. As a presenter is knowledgeable, effective and professional.
M. Provide crisis intervention and referrals in a manner that is prompt, effective and professional.
N. Establish a rapport and provide professional and effective counseling for clients.
O. Attend in-services, staff meetings, and other staff functions as required by Supervisor.
P. Pursue staff development opportunities to meet privileging and credentialing requirements, expand skills, and keep license current.
Q. Maintain a schedule approved by supervisor.
R. Is reliable in work attendance, and follows Freedom House procedures when requesting planned or unplanned leave.


Salary: $83,200 per year
