CRNA Opportunity In Austin, TX

CRNA opportunity for a weekend shift (two 16's, Saturday and Sunday) in Austin, TX where we have 300 days of sunshine a year! No facility travel.

AAG provides anesthesia services for much of the St. David's HealthCare system in the Austin area. St. David's Medical Center is home to the world-renowned Texas Cardiac Arrhythmia Institute and St. David's Neuroscience & Spine Institute and provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care. In addition to St. David's Medical Center, our practice provides anesthesia services at St. David's North Austin Medical Center, South Austin Hospital, and Round Rock Medical Center and accompanying outpatient surgery centers.

Our practice covers the full range of specialties including general inpatient and outpatient cases, trauma, OB, neuro, EP and more. CRNAs do their own spinals; as well as epidurals and arterial lines on a case-by-case basis.

Shifts: Two 16-hour shifts on the weekend.

Team Highlights: Our diverse group is composed of anesthesiologists, CRNAs, and CAAs who provide anesthesia services in a care team model; team members are exposed to a wide variety of complex cases. Our care team model means that we focus on everyone having a voice, while supporting, respecting, and helping to deliver care excellence.

Requirements: Responsibilities include pre-anesthesia assessment, obtaining and/or verifying patient consent, discussing anesthetic options and risks with the patient, induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia, monitoring of the patient's physiological condition, and performance of clinical intervention as needed.

Requirements: Current license as a registered professional nurse, graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education, certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists.
