Job description

Remote Travel Advisor - Reservations & Sales
Leisure Life Travel | 100% Remote | 1099 Independent Contractor | Training & Mentorship Provided
Leisure Life Travel is seeking motivated, business-minded individuals who want to develop a professional travel business while helping clients plan cruises, resorts, vacation packages, hotels, and other travel experiences.
This is a 1099 independent contractor, commission-based opportunity and is not an hourly or salaried W-2 position. This opportunity is best suited for individuals who are comfortable with client service, sales, marketing, follow-up, and building long-term customer relationships.
No previous travel industry experience is required. Professional training, supplier education, mentorship, and ongoing support are provided.
What You Will Do
As a Travel Advisor, you will work directly with clients to understand their vacation needs, preferences, and budgets and assist them with researching and booking cruises, resorts, vacation packages, hotels, tours, and other travel services.
You will provide accurate information regarding destinations, travel options, pricing, availability, supplier policies, and reservation requirements while maintaining professional communication throughout the client experience.
Travel Advisors are responsible for managing reservations, monitoring important booking and payment deadlines, maintaining organized client records, and following up with clients before and after travel.
This opportunity also includes sales and business development. Advisors are expected to develop new client relationships, follow up with prospective travelers, generate referrals, encourage repeat bookings, and consistently work toward growing their client base.
Sales, Marketing & Social Media
Successful Travel Advisors do more than process reservations. They build relationships and generate business.
Advisors should be willing to market their travel services through personal relationships, referrals, networking, social media, and other approved marketing methods.
Basic knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, or other social media platforms is helpful. Training and guidance are provided to help advisors learn how to professionally market travel experiences and develop their client audience.
Training & Professional Development
Travel industry education is an important part of this opportunity. Advisors will learn how to access and use approved cruise line, resort, tour operator, vacation package, and travel supplier systems.
Advisors are expected to participate in training and continue developing their knowledge of destinations, suppliers, reservation systems, sales, marketing, and client service.
Candidates should be coachable and willing to apply what they learn.
Time Commitment
Independent contractors should be prepared to dedicate approximately 15 hours per week to developing their travel business. This may include training, client communication, travel research, marketing, prospecting, follow-up, reservation management, and supplier education.
The schedule is flexible, but consistency is important.
Compensation
This is a commission-based 1099 independent contractor opportunity. There is no guaranteed hourly wage or salary. Earnings vary based on individual bookings, sales activity, client development, consistency, and overall business performance.
Eligible supplier incentives, advisor travel benefits, discounts, and industry opportunities may also be available based on supplier requirements and individual qualifications.
Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for motivated, dependable, professional individuals who communicate well, are comfortable working independently, have reliable internet and basic computer skills, and are willing to learn sales, marketing, travel reservations, and client relationship management.
Previous experience in customer service, sales, hospitality, marketing, social media, or travel is helpful but not required.
This opportunity is ideal for someone who wants to build a travel business, not simply find another work-from-home job.
If you are willing to learn, communicate with clients, market your services, follow up consistently, complete professional training, and take an active role in developing your business, we would like to speak with you.
Apply today to be considered for our next Travel Advisor information session.
