Job Posting

Hours: Monday - Thursday 5:00am - 3:30pm with overtime scheduled on Friday when required.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate material handling equipment: Forklifts, Cranes, Hoists, Pallet jacks
  • Ensure a constant supply of parts to the cell in a timely manner
  • Stage and ensure materials/fixtures are available per the scheduling needs
  • Disposition of completed parts, remaining components, and fixtures off the end of the cell
  • Work with material analyst on performing cycle counts and inventory adjustments
  • Utilize handheld scanner to accurately move materials and keep inventory accurate within ORACLE ERP
  • Keep work areas safe and clean (5s- Sort, Straighten, Shine, Standardize, Sustain)
  • Accurately move and stage components using job pick lists
  • Assist work cell in continuous flow of materials to maintain efficiencies
  • Other duties as assigned
Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Previous experience in operating powered industrial vehicles and material handling is preferred.
Physical Requirements:

In terms of a normal work day: Continuously (up to 100%), Frequently (up to 66%), Occasionally (up to 33%)

  • Frequently sitting on forklift
  • Frequently standing/walking
  • Frequently driving forklift
  • Frequently gripping/rotating of hands and wrists for controlling forklift.
  • Frequently lift up to 25 lbs
  • Frequently push/pull up to 50 lbs
Skills and Abilities:
  • Ability to or willingness to learn to drive forklifts and use other material handling equipment in a safe manner
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Ability to accurately fulfill a pick list
  • Have a positive attitude and act professionally
  • Working in a group or individual setting while direction from multiple individuals
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Ability to problem solve and resolve issues
  • Possess the ability to lift, push, pull 50 pounds
  • Possess the ability to stand, bend, reach and walk for at least 10 hours.
  • Must have the ability to frequently twist and bend
  • Must have the ability to stand, sit and walk at least 75% of the time.
