Job description

Madison Core Labs is a state-of-the-art full-service independent clinical laboratory, and we are currently seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Mobile Phlebotomist to join our amazing team! We are passionate about what we do and delight in providing excellent service that will make positive changes in the lives of those we serve.
Position Summary: Madison Core Laboratories Phlebotomist's are responsible for efficiently and accurately collecting blood and specimen samples for laboratory analysis, depending on their specific facility. This position will be expected to work a flexible work schedule serving North Alabama, including Double Springs and surrounding areas. (Working Hours could range between 5:30am- 5pm, but usually only require 8 hour shifts)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Accurately and efficiently collect blood and specimen samples- based on facility needs
  • Identify patients and their personal information using a form of ID and/or medical records
  • Ensure quality and quantity of collected samples
  • Label samples correctly and send or deliver for testing
  • Answer related patient questions and provide useful information
  • Adhere to all health and safety standards while working in the facility and/or traveling
  • Follows instructions and other duties as directed by supervisor

Experience:

  • 5 years related experience, Preferred

Education:

  • H.S. Diploma or equivalent- Required

    Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

    • Phlebotomy Certification, Preferred
