Harrison Bay, a Lifespark Senior Living Community, is looking for a Cook (On-Call Float) to join our growing team!
Harrison Bay Senior Living is a beautiful facility, located in Mound, MN. It is located right off Commerce Blvd, right by Lake Minnetonka. It's a lakeside work environment, with 72 total units between memory care, assisted living, and independent living. The team at Harrison Bay is creative, fun, and most of all help our resident Age Magnificently!
Position: Cook
Hourly Wage: $17.50/hour - $22.50/hour, depending on experience plus $500 Sign-On Bonus!
Service Area: 1861 Commerce Boulevard, Mound, MN 55364
Schedule: part-time afternoon hours
Week 1: Sunday (1130am-8pm), Friday and Saturday (1230pm-8pm) / Week 2: Sunday (1230pm-8pm), Monday and Saturday (1130am-8pm)

Position Duties & Responsibilities:
In this position, you will be responsible for preparing food in accordance with prescribed resident diet specifications, facility procedures, and dietary and sanitary regulations.
Duties include:
  • Prepare and serve food and meals in accordance with planned menus, diet plans, recipes, portions, and temperature control procedures.
  • Direct and assist in cleaning and sanitizing work areas, equipment and floors, dishes, and utensils.
  • Check all trays for menu and diet requirements and preference and accuracy.
  • Ensure proper storage for food and supplies.
  • Review and process diet changes and ensure menus are maintained and followed in accordance with established procedures.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in a senior living setting is preferred.
  • Must be able to relate professionally, positively, and cooperatively with residents, resident's families, and employees.
  • Must possess advanced computer skills, including email use.
