Construction Superintendent (Residential & Commercial) – Lead Premier Residential and Commercial Builds for the Jcorp Design Build Team


Job Overview

The Opportunity You will serve as a high-impact leader within the Jcorp Design Build Team, driving excellence across diverse real estate development and construction projects. This role empowers you to oversee complex builds from inception to completion while mentoring the next generation of field professionals. You will have the direct support of a locally rooted company that values your expertise and provides the resources necessary to shape the future of our communities.

How You Will Make an Impact

  • Oversee and engage in all phases of construction from initial groundbreaking to final walkthrough to ensure project excellence.
  • Monitor and enforce strict compliance with as-built conditions and building safety codes to maintain site integrity.
  • Identify and implement value engineering solutions to optimize project efficiency and submit recommendations to management.
  • Review and provide critical feedback on subcontract change orders and purchase orders to maintain budget accuracy.
  • Train and mentor Jcorp foremen and laborers to foster professional growth and increase team effectiveness.
  • Coordinate with the Project Management team to resolve on-site technical questions and maintain strict project timelines.
  • Manage daily jobsite labor tasks and maintain an organized, safe environment for all trade partners.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of 7–10 years of proven experience as a Construction Superintendent in commercial or residential sectors.
  • Advanced proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, project drawings, and technical specifications.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to keep large, multi-disciplinary teams on track and motivated.
  • Strong technical knowledge of modern construction methods, scheduling logic, and safety protocols.
  • Proactive, hands-on problem-solving mindset with a focus on delivering quality work on time.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related technical field.
  • Advanced technical proficiency with project management or construction scheduling software.
  • Experience in high-end custom home building and large-scale land development projects.
