Job description

IU Health Medical Group is hiring! We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Orthopedic Trauma team at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, IN! 

Position Details:

  • Nights
    • 13.3 hour shifts ROTATING weekend responsibility of every 3rd weekend
  • No call
  • 100% Inpatient
  • Team includes 8 physicians and 16 advanced practice providers which you will be working directly with

Key Responsibilities:

  • Orthopedic Trauma consults

Procedures:

  • Fracture/dislocation reductions
  • Application of splints
  • First Assist in the OR
  • Joint Injections
  • Joint Aspirations
  • Wound Vac application and changes
  • Traction Application

Qualifications:

  • ACNP, AGNP, FNP or PA certification required
  • APP experience preferred
  • APP experience in orthopedics preferred
