Job Description

Job Title: Sales Support

Duration: 4 months+ (Possible extension)

Location: Downers Grove IL

Position summary:

Manage overall sales support process for Small Group Funding Advantage products for new and existing business in concert with field sales/service and/or customer teams in support of key performance measures.

Reviews incoming requests (new/growth RFPs/RFIs and proactive quotes) for strategic and capabilities match

Preliminary and/or final risk evaluation/selection

Determination of likelihood of success vs. resource allocation

Cultivate critical relationships (field sales/service, broker/consultant community/customer teams, and Health local market and Home Office operations

Assess customer needs and expectations vs. Health capabilities/strategy

Assist in development of customer sales strategies

Develop and Deliver Proposal - may include some or all of the following:

Develop proposal project plan

Coordinate responses from all Health resources in support of Health's response

Coordinate and or complete case underwriting and pricing components

Post sale activities

Confirm and communicate sold case specifics to internal parties, consultant and customer

Financial follow-up as necessary

Documentation and transfer to customer team

Must be able to demonstrate the ability to manage multiple priorities in a team environment

Excellent communication skills - written and verbal required

General Business/Applying Reasoned Judgment required

Microsoft office products experience preferred

The minimum level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
