The Opportunity

We are hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to serve clients across Rhode Island. With flexible scheduling options including day, evening, night, full-time, or part-time, you can choose shifts that fit your lifestyle while making a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients.

Key Requirement

• All applicants are required to pass a Competency Evaluation prior to being hired, in addition to meeting all listed requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs and IADLs (activities of daily living) such as bathing, grooming, meal prep, and light housekeeping

• Provide personal care, companionship, and emotional support

• Support mobility and safe transfers

• Remind clients about medications, help open containers, and document side effects under nurse guidance

• Communicate with the care team to ensure client well-being

Requirements

Active CNA license in Rhode Island

Current CPR and BLS certification

• At least 1 year of recent CNA experience (home care preferred)

• Empathy, patience, and strong communication skills

• High school diploma or equivalent

Compliance Note

As of June 2025, under Medicaid regulation 210-RICR-20-05-1, payment for services provided by immediate family members may be restricted. In Home Wellcare reviews each case to determine eligibility in line with state rules.
