One home, one meal, one conversation at a time.

Do you find joy in helping others feel comfortable, cared for, and valued in their own homes? Are you someone who brings warmth, kindness, and a personal touch to everything you do, from preparing a simple meal, completing light house keeping duties to create a safer living environment, to sharing a meaningful conversation? If so, we’d welcome an opportunity to talk with you about the Visiting Nurse Association (VNA) Homemaker position.

You don’t need to be a gourmet chef, just someone who enjoys preparing meals, organizing spaces, and helping others feel at home.

As a Homemaker with VNA, you'll work Monday - Friday 8 AM to 5 PM with no evenings, weekends, or major holidays. You will play a vital role in helping clients live safely and independently in the place they feel most at ease, their own home. Your care brings dignity. Your work makes a difference every single day.

  • Build meaningful, supportive relationships with clients during every visit
  • Create a clean, safe, and welcoming home environment through light housekeeping, including:

  • Passionate about helping others maintain their independence and quality of life

At VNA, we believe that when we take care of our team, they can better care for others. We offer a supportive environment and a comprehensive benefits package, including:

  • Medical coverage (Wellmark) with multiple plan options
  • Blue Dental and Avesis Vision
  • Employer-paid life insurance and long-term disability
  • Optional benefits: short-term disability, critical illness, and accident coverage
  • Medical and dependent care flexible spending accounts
  • Optional additional life insurance for you and your family
  • 403(b) retirement plan with employer match and access to financial advising
  • Generous paid time off:
    • 19 days of vacation in your first year (accrued)
    • 12 sick days per year (accrued)
    • 8 paid holidays
  • Mileage reimbursement

If you are caring, dependable, and passionate about making a meaningful impact through everyday acts of service, we encourage you to apply today. Be part of a team where your kindness is valued, your work is meaningful, and your presence truly matters.

We welcome and respect individuals of all backgrounds and do not discriminate based on race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, disability, or any legally protected status.
