Our team provides both medical and non-medical care. This may include personal care, companionship, help with meals, medication support, mobility help, respite care, and support for people living with dementia or disabilities.
We are looking for caring Health Care Workers to join our team in Edmonton South and surrounding areas. This is a meaningful role where you can make a real difference in someone’s day.
What You Will Do
As a Health Care Worker, you will help clients stay safe, comfortable, and independent at home. Your duties may include:
  • Helping with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal care
  • Supporting clients with walking, transfers, and mobility
  • Preparing or reheating meals
  • Giving reminders or support with medications, as directed
  • Providing companionship and emotional support
  • Helping keep the client’s home clean and safe
  • Supporting clients living with dementia or disabilities
  • Following the client’s care plan
  • Reporting changes or concerns to the Director of Care
  • Documenting care clearly and on time
  • Transferring assistance from manual to mechanical

Qualifications include:
  • Experience in home care, senior care, assisted living, or a care setting

  • Ability to work on your own and as part of a team
  • Physical ability to assist with care tasks
  • Health Care Aide, PSW, nursing student, International Nurse, or related training is an asset
