San Marcos, TX

OUR ROLE

The Outlet Store Manager is responsible for leading all aspects of the new San Marcos Outlet Store, opening Fall 2026. As an on-the-floor leader, this role is responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience while driving sales, developing a high-performing team, and ensuring operational excellence. The Store Manager oversees all aspects of store performance, including sales, profitability, merchandising, staffing, inventory, compliance, and community engagement. This role is an on-the-floor leader, not only performing all store functions but also leading the store to success by developing a team that consistently delivers a Signature Customer Experience. The role ensures operational excellence, drives results (sales and profit goals), customer and associate satisfaction, merchandise presentation, public relations/events and asset protection.

This outlet location will feature Waterford, Wedgwood, Georg Jensen and Royal Copenhagen brands. The Outlet Store Manager must have in-depth knowledge of the brand and products to drive sales.

WHAT YOU'LL DO AT THE OUTLET

Team Leadership

  • Recruit, hire, onboard, train, coach and develop store associates
  • Create schedules that support business needs while managing payroll budgets.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching and feedback
  • Foster an inclusive, collaborative, and high-performing team culture.
  • Recognize and reward team performance.

Inventory Management

  • Maintain up-to-date listings of excess and obsolete stock across all brands.
  • Monitor stock across all brands
  • Monitor and manage discounting levels to align with outlet commission rates and protect P&L margins.

Customer Experience

  • Deliver an exceptional luxury customer experience that reflects the heritage of our brands.
  • Resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently.
  • Build customer loyalty through outstanding service and product expertise.
  • Model selling behaviors and coach associates to exceed service expectations.

Sales & Business Performance

  • Drive sales and profitability by achieving store goals and KPIs.
  • Monitor daily, weekly and monthly performance metrics.
  • Identify opportunities to increase conversion, average transaction value, and units per transaction.
  • Develop action plans to improve store performance.

Promotional Planning & Execution

  • Plan and execute promotions within the outlet store.
  • Create compelling sale listings tailored to outlet events and seasonal opportunities.
  • Review outlet floor layouts based on sales data and promotional trends.

Outlet Engagement & Support

  • Ensure promotional events are correctly booked and executed.
  • Create staff incentives to prioritize brand sales over competitors.
  • Deliver product training and ensure visual merchandising aligns with brand strategy.
  • Identify new selling spaces and opportunities for stock launches.

Operational Oversight

  • Implement operational improvements and drive efficiencies.
  • Support staff training and development across sites.
  • Report on performance metrics and ensure compliance with brand standards.

WHO YOU ARE

You are an experienced retail leader who enjoys developing people, leading by example, and creating a positive team environment. You are passionate about delivering an outstanding customer experience and have a strong business mindset that enables you to drive sales, achieve goals, and manage store operations effectively. You are organized, adaptable, and comfortable prioritizing competing demands in a fast-paced retail environment. A strong communicator and confident decision-maker, you build positive relationships with customers, employees, and business partners while taking ownership of store performance. You are committed to maintaining a safe, welcoming, and well-presented store that reflects the highest standards of the brand.

Experience & knowledge:

  • 5+ years of retail leadership experience, including experience managing teams and driving store performance.
  • Demonstrated success achieving sales and profitability goals.
  • Experience hiring, coaching and developing retail teams.
  • Strong understanding of retail KPIs, payroll, scheduling and inventory management.
  • Experience with visual merchandising luxury or premium brands preferred.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to analyze sales data and respond to trends to achieve targets and driving the business.
  • Proficiency in planning promotional campaigns and visual merchandising.
  • Solid understanding of retail operations and industry best practices
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance standards

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Retail Management or a related field.

Language Skills

  • English required
  • Spanish preferred but not required

Base Salary: $70,000-80,000 Annually
